It's a been a long hiatus for me from this blog. It hits me that the end of the year is coming pretty soon. So, what better way to start a New Year then to learn a new language altogether! And IMO, I truly believe learning to speak simple phrases of a new language will allow you better understanding in the shortest time! Enjoy ;-)

Marie Digby - Umbrella (Accoustic Version)
Today is one of those YouTube days and if you wondering after such a long hiatus, who's my Girl of the Month! Ta da!
Let me introduce this Beautiful and Talented Young lady. Marié Christina Digby (pronounced Ma-ree-AY Dig-Bee) (born April 16, 1983) is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and pianist. She is best known for her acoustic cover version of Rihanna's No. 1 hit "Umbrella", which attracted attention on YouTube in 2007 (for more info on her, you can check her out at Wiki).
She's great! Let me tell you that I have no idea who she is until her version of Rihanna's Umbrella (trust me... her's is way way much better than original version) start bombarding the airwaves of my local hitz station ;-)
I can tell you one thing. I hate Rihanna's Umbrella! I have no idea who will come out with song like that. Totally doesn't even make any sense to me. But.. the moment I heard Marie's version, I'm like wondering to myself "How come Rihanna's voice started to sound so sweet and the accoustic version is so way way much better than the radio edit version!". But that's until I found out that this accoustic version is sang by her. A couple of Googling and YouTube and WOW! She's fantastic. She got some Asian heritage in her blood cos her look is simply gorgeous! Her popularity seems to spread towards Asia as well as she recently made a tour to Asia.
Thus, because of all these, she's Panda Bear Bear's Girl of the Month!
p/s: And I just found out I'm the only one who doesn't know who she is while hundreds if not thousands of people globally already know her! My hibernation thingy is really working! Gosh.. I'm so outdated! Muahahaha!
